Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants, Tarangire offers a fantastic introduction to Tanzania's wildlife. You will enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to your lodge in Karatu or nearby for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll head towards the Serengeti National Park, traveling through the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains. You'll arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

You will have an early morning game drive in the Serengeti to start your day. After brunch, you'll engage in another game drive as you head towards the Ngorongoro Crater. You will reach the crater rim in the late afternoon, where you can admire the view before dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing drive. The crater is home to a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. It's also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, you will ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha.
